The Story Behind It
More Than a Business.
A Legacy.
My father spent his career in auto body and painting. He had a gift for it — the kind of patience and precision that most people never develop. For years, he poured that into fully restoring a 1976 Chevrolet Laguna from the ground up. It was his pride. And I got to be right there with him at car shows, nights in the garage, and watching him work like every inch of that car mattered. Because to him, it did. At the time, I didn't understand it.
He passed away when I was 4. But before he did, he made sure my mom knew: when I graduated, that the Laguna would be waiting for me. When the day arrived, I finally understood what he was trying to pass down. It wasn't just a car. It was his standard. A way of doing things. The belief that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing right. Completely, carefully, and with pride in the result.
That's what Mesabi Auto Detail is built on. Not a business model. Not a price sheet. A standard I inherited from a man I barely got to know, but whose work ethic I carry every single day.
